"Absolutely amazing"

Would like to thank the staff of A&E at Basildon Hospital, who saved my life with their quick thinking and excellent team work skills. I presented myself to the triage nurse and was seen for assessment and the staff began to treat me immediately. My relatives said that the care and dignity they showed me whilst my condition was critical was amazing and the nursing team where constantly checking on me and making sure that the treatment they had started had begun to work. They were so quick, efficient but also my relatives noted that they worked as a team and tried to calm me during this stressful time. I was seen by the emergency doctor who also was very thorough and once I was stable, arranged for me to be transferred quickly so I could receive specialist care. Thank you so much Basildon for what you did.
