"Excellent A&E treatment"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Thank you to all the staff at Manchester Royal Infirmary and the paramedics who treated me on Saturday 23rd January after I had a fall at Old Trafford near the Metro station. The paramedics came within 10 minutes (even on matchday) to attend to me and were very professional in my treatment. I had a dislocated finger. On site the paramedic took all the information from me and put the finger back in. My heart rate then dropped dramatically so the paramedics took me(and my wife) to the A&E department at Manchester Royal Infirmary whilst monitoring my heart and signs all the way. We arrived at A&E Amber area, were seen straight away and were again given exceptional professional treatment by all the nurses and doctor. They were friendly, informative and made me feel at ease. My X-ray took less than 10 minutes. My blood results came back in a very short space of time. I cannot express my thanks to them all enough. I am not used to such an excellent, speedy service at my local hospital in the South of England. When I was discharged the Reception desk even called me a taxi and even that arrived within 2 minutes. Five star treatment all round.
