"Pain Management"

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

I have been waiting now for over 6 weeks for the Pain Management Team to write a letter to my GP/ Pain Management dept here in Scotland regarding my son. Being passed from pillar to post and been assured so many times that this letter has been sent and we are still waiting.

Associate Specialist at the outpatient appointment was quite rude and manner needs addressing.

I would like to point out that the consultant is fantastic. It's disappointing that others in the department do not have the same level of commitment to their patients.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience in the outpatient clinic and that you are having trouble getting a letter sent to your GP. If you or your son would like to contact me on 020 7188 3733 or by email at beth.wilcox@gstt.nhs.uk with a few more details (the date he had his appointment would be helpful) I'd be happy to alert the management team and see if we can't work out a way with the GP to get that letter sent electronically (to ensure receipt).
