About: Arrowe Park Hospital

It's the easiest thing to complain, perhaps especially when you're really sick, but I just wanted to thank all the staff who cared for me whilst being laid up in Arrowe Park Hospital this past week first in A&E, then in the short stay ward and finally the lung support unit. Thank you to the porters who pushed me around (in a bed or trolley - not verbally you understand), thank you to the cleaners who brushed and mopped the floors every day aswell as sorting out the sometimes unenviable task of the toilets & bathrooms, thank you to the staff who offered hot drinks at regular intervals throughout the day, thank you to the lovely people who fed me when I eventually could stomach some soup & toast, thank you to all the nurses & ancillary staff, the sisters & doctors who treated me with professional expertise, kindness, humour and respect ... also the physios and OTs who took care of some of the patients in beds around me ... what an amazing team you all are! I know you guys are all under great pressure working days & nights with a constant flow of sick people who need your care. I know you guys must sometimes get frustrated and fed up. But the fact is you do a truely amazing job and you never stop caring. If I'd been in countless other parts of the world right now I wouldn't have received a fraction of what I've just been given by way of treatment and care ... and all because of you ... each one of you playing your part. I am truly grateful. THANK YOU and may God bless you...for 'I was sick and you cared for me' Matthew 25:36
