What I liked
I recently had reason to spend a number of days in James Cook hospital following a heart problem and through you wish to express my thanks to all concerned for the care I received.
In a little over two hours I had been given a preliminary assessment at University Hospital of North Tees, transported by emergency ambulance to James Cook Hospital and admitted to the Coronary Care Unit after further tests and Angioplasty Treatment. I do not believe that this speed of treatment could be surpassed.
It is fashionable these days to criticise the NHS however I feel that where credit is due it should be recognised and given.
Whilst I have sent a thankyou card to the staff of the CCU Unit and Ward 30 it is important that my thanks are expressed at Management level to all concerned for the caring and compassionate manner in which I was treated.
