"First stay in hospital"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I recently broke my leg and had to have it pinned. I was very scared as at 56 years of age I had never been in hospital other than having children. I found the staff very friendly and understanding. For some nothing was too much. I was kept informed of my treatment and although I obviously would rather not have been there it was made less traumatic by all involved.
