What I liked
The level of professionalism, treatment and the quality of care I received from all the surgical and nursing staff on surgical ward B3 (Station 2) and the surgical assessment unit (SAU) following a GP referral was of the highest level.
The attention given to me by the staff on the SAU and following my admission as an in-patient by the staff on B3 (Station 2), and the level of hygiene and cleanliness demonstrated by all the staff on this unit; make this team a credit to the hospital.
This high level of professionalism was also demonstrated by the nursing staff at my GP surgery and the district nursing team who provided me with post-operative care following my discharge from hospital.
What could be improved
I had a very positive experience with the healthcare profession during my stay on this ward and with those involved in post-operative care.
Anything else?
Please convey my thanks and appreciation to all those involved with my treatment following my (unscheduled) hospital admission.
