"Overview made by carer attending with patient"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital (Folkestone) (Folkestone)

First and foremost! If you want to save money on your heating bills and stop carers from being left to freeze inside the main reception area, then put your heads together and think of a way to change the entrance opening!

I work in the service industry like most of your hospital staff, however the brief conversation I had with one of your Derry Receptionists was as frosty as your reception area. I am fully appreciative that we all have bad days but please leave them at home. Especially in the Derry unit, you are dealing with patients and carers who are both worried and concerned, they are not cattle. Perhaps a trip to WHH MRI unit is in order to show them how it should be done. I think 'caring' attitude is the operative word here!

I am so sorry to learn about your experience at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

You are right when you say that everyone attending is a person, not a number.

We will ensure that your comments are fed back - to include the problems with the entrance opening, which must be dreadful on a chilly windy day.

Please accept our sincere apologies for your experience
