"Great out patient experience"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Ear, Nose & Throat (Ward 11b)

(as the patient),

I am so thankful for such a great service

I was contacted by admin about one week after being referred by my GP

The appointment was for one week later and suited fine

I then received confirmation letter

I arrived on good time and was seen 15 mins earlier than appointment time - a bonus!

I was seen by Mr McManners as well as an ENT consultant

Throughout this process I was treated with courtesy

Many thanks to all involved

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

Dear Fermat

Thank you for taking the time to post about the care your recently received at the QEUH. I am pleased to hear that you feel you were treated with courtesy throughout the process as this is how every patient should feel. I will ensure your kind words are passed on.

I hope you are now doing well.

Best wishes

Lisa
