What I liked
Not alot. I was in the maternioty ward and did eventually get a room which I shared with 3 others, rather than being on the ward.
What could be improved
Once I had given birth (approx 1pm) my husband went home to pick up a few bits and I was left on my own without being checked on once for at least 2 hours. Baby was also crying during this time and no one came to offer any help or to see if I wanted to feed him.
I was moved onto the C-Section ward at about 5pm, as there were no beds on the normal ward. At approx 2am I was then moved into another ward, which disturbed both myself and my baby. He spent the rest of the night awake and screaming.
Anything else?
If I had a choice I would not use the maternity ward at the hospital again.
