About: Raigmore Hospital

(as a volunteer/advocate),

Observed a menu card whilst in the hospital and noticed that there isn't much in the way of choice for gluten free meals. Limits choice for individuals on a medically imposed diet.

Dear lulu103

I do apologise for tardy response. My system of responding in real time seems to have gone a little array but I will gladly look into this. It am pretty sure it is the case that while the menu may not have so much choice the catering team are always happy (within reason) to prepare something specific for patients.

I have spoken to Crawford Howat (the manager for Hotel Services in Raigmore ) this morning. He has confirmed that we have a separate Gluten Free Menu which is on every ward. I do hope this reassures you.
