"Great service at A&E WGH"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as a parent/guardian),

I visited A&E at WGH last week with my 3 year old daughter following an asthma attack and would just like to compliment the nursing staff there. They were all very supportive and child friendly. They tried to engage my daughter with fun and were incredibly helpful throughout our time there. The service they provide is second to none!

Dear thankfulmum

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care your daughter received whilst having to attend the Emergency Department here at Wishaw General Hospital. I have no doubt this was a very worrying time for you and I am pleased that you felt that the staff were very supportive to the needs of your daughter. I indeed hope that she is recovering well and her health continues to improve.

It is always nice to get positive feedback and I will ensure this will be shared with the Nursing team within the Emergency Department.

Thank you once again and Best Wishes

Faith
