"Cardiology Unit"

I was transferred from FVRH to RIF for Angiogram + PCI. From arrival to discharge I was treated very well and informed what would happen and when. The staff in the Cath Lab were all very informative with smiles on their faces and put me at ease. If only someone had told me how cold the Cath Lab was. I understand that because the equipment has to be kept at a low temperature this also means the room itself is rather cold. Only having on a flimsy hospital gown it was a little like being outside on a very cold day. Is there any way around this? Perhaps more blankets while the procedure is going on, or maybe thicker gowns? Being told to keep still was a little difficult when you are shivering. However, the care and attention was excellent throughout the procedure and my thanks go to 'team' in the Cath Lab for their care.
