I went to the A&E on 1 Saturday in October because I started bleeding (I found out I was pregnant 3-4 days before). [and my GP told me to go to the A&E if I started bleeding as I had cramps, and have used the online consultation service]
Before I went to the A&E department, I have used several home pregnancy test kits (about 4-5, and they came up positive).
The doctor then used my urine sample and tested, and it came out negative. Then they insisted I am not pregnant (giving me a feeling as though I was pregnant in my head and I have some sort of mental illness.)
I felt very upset at how the doctor answered me, etc.. and they even insisted it was a false positive. I had to highlight I took a few tests, and they came up positive, and they are of different brands.
However in the end, the doctor arranged me for a scan, and yes, I had a miscarriage.....
I just couldn't believe the doctor's attitude! I have always thought NHS doctors are caring, and they're the best, until I went to this doctor in A&E.
"The doctor doubted me.."
