"My mother had a uti & osteoarthritis in her..."

About: North Cotswold Hospital

She was treated with antibiotics & had catheter fitted. She was in hospital for at least 8 weeks & in that time she barely moved out of her chair. She was told she was moving to bourton on the water & the day she was told to go they said she couldn't go. I then had a meeting with staff who said a home care package would be organised. That was at least 5 weeks ago (when they said it would be organised asap). Then 2 days before Christmas they told her that as beds were needed (& care package still not organised!) so on Christmas Eve she was moved to a care home in Cheltenham (& still their after being told they still hasn't got care package in place!) . Although I can't fault the care by the staff, the time scale of things was way too long & has been upsetting & stressful for my mum.
