"My maternity care was amazing"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as the patient),

During my pregnancy from April to December 2015, the level of care and attention I received was amazing. I am over whelmed by all the midwives and specialists involved. They made me feel important ever step of the way and detailed exactly what was happening. From the care leading up to the birth and the 5 days I spent in hospital being induced then delivering. I met a lot of midwives during my stay and would like to say a massive thankyou. Everything was kept extremely clean and the meals were also enjoyable. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in early 2016.

Should I ever require forth valley care in the future I would be more than happy.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl. I hope you are both well.

It is really great to hear that the care and attention given during your pregnancy was good and that you were involved in all aspects of your care. We always aim to make our mums the centre of attention so it is good to know that this happened for you.

I will pass on your comments and thanks to all staff, midwifery, medical and housekeeping, which I know will be happily received.

Thanks again for your posting. I hope your wee girl isn’t giving you too many sleepless nights and that you are all enjoying this exciting and special time!
