Had my cataract operation cancelled for the 3rd time in 6 weeks all for non clinical reasons. No idea when my operation will go ahead. So much for the NHS constitution. Obviously NHS don't care if I go blind in 1 eye never mind the stress its causing to me and my husband

We were very sorry to learn of your concerns with regards the need to reschedule your cataract surgery, and recognise this is a worrying time for you and your family.

We would like to find out why your surgery has been postponed.

Please contact the PALs Department after 10am on Monday on Freephone 0800 195 1241 and select option 2 or email cochpals@nhs.net to provide us with further information.

This will also give us the opportunity to feedback to you personally about what has happened.

We will also try to confirm a new date for your surgery as soon as possible.
