Following a serious Asthma Attack, which came as a complete surprise,i was rushed to Chorley Hospital after lunch on the 19th December after initial treatment in A and E i was transferred to the Medical Assessment ward where I stayed till the following Wednesday when I was transferred to Winstanley ward, returning home on Christmas day.
My reason for completing this survey is to convey my thanks for the Treatment and Care II received whilst a patient, from all the members of staff I encountered , who took the time to explain my condition and the course of treatment I was to receive which would restore my health and the ongoing care I would receive when back in home surrounding.
It was a sobering experience but to be the subject of such intense dedication from all the professionals encountered deserves a special attempt on my part to bring to the attention of the Hospital management the expertise of the staff they employ, they should all be justifiably proud of the systems they have put in place, and all carried out their duties with a ready smile and a willingness to discuss any concerns which may have arisen.
