"Excellent service from paramedics through to..."

have been meaning to email regarding my mother.

Mum suffered a TIA early in October and was taken into Torbay Hospital and kept in overnight on the stroke ward.

I just wanted to thank the NHS for the wonderful service.

The paramedics were absolutely amazing, they got to us within a short period of time and were so reassuring.

They took time to make sure I was okay (I was in complete shock and scared that Mum was having a full on stroke).

Nothing was too much trouble and they even found me in A&E to check I was okay.

Unfortunately, I do not know their names.

Mum then spent time in A&E, having scans etc and once again the nurses/doctors could not have been more helpful and thoughtful.

Mum stayed in overnight and came home the following evening.

On behalf of our family I just wanted to thank Torbay Hospital and the NHS for a wonderful service. In a time when there is so much negativity towards the NHS, I just wanted to say a big thank you, well done……we really did appreciate you.
