"Day Surgery Unit"

Just before Christmas my husband needed a fast track urological procedure. The staff were marvellous and although there was a long delay due to an emergency the staff did their best to keep us informed as to what was happening. All the staff were really professional but also friendly and helpful. I was particularly grateful to the nurses who were leaving the hospital at the end of their shift who helped in pouring rain to get my husband, who is disabled and very shaky on his legs, into the car. I also cannot praise enough the care we received from the Consultant Urologist, who took the time to explain what they were planning to do and put my husband at his ease.

Iam a member of staff at Addenbrooke's and have to say that I am proud to work for such a caring organisation.
