12 weeks ago was the scariest day I have ever had. I went into labour at 11 and was told I wasn't that far along, instead of being sent home they let me stay and reassured me that everything was going to be ok, when I finally went into active labour the midwife was so kind, she was really patient and helped me through the unusual experience, afterwards she gave me such praise, and left me to spend some quality time with my baby boy, she was so encouraging and was incredibly kind to me. When I was transferred down the mother and baby ward I felt comfortable, all the midwifes and student midwifes were so lovely, one even letting me sleep when it was time to clean my room: D they stayed with me, we're always a click of a button away and listened to me when I was in tears for no reason. They never made me feel bad and always encouraged me to try again! I could not have asked for a better time and want to thank everyone who was involved in my care at the LGI thank you so much!
