(as a parent/guardian),

I bought my 7yr old and 3 yr old sons to the sure start centre and my eldest had written a book so showed the staff. The staff really made a him feel special and proud of his work, also created a certificate for him to say how good it was. This really encouraged him and made him more confident. The member of staff also created a certificate for my youngest as he was doing really well with potty training. He was so pleased and also made him feel like a big boy. Thank you

Many thanks for posting your positive feedback.

The main advantage of sure start children's centres are that they are located right into the heart of the community. This enables families to drop in and talk to staff members and in your case for your sons to show off their good work. Staff members do also make the extra effort and go that extra mile when presented with a family at the centre as we want to encourage them back whenever possible.
