I came into A&E at Crosshouse hospital roughly Oct/Nov 2014 with severe pains on my left side, I was seen quickly as A&E was quiet and after blood tests I was found to be suffering from pancreatitis. I felt that the Dr treating me in A&E was very thorough in her examinations and very professional, I was admitted into a ward where further tests were carried out which found I had gallstones which was the cause of the problem. During my time in the ward pre and post op, the Dr & nurses that treated me were very professional & carried out their duties to the highest standard even though there was a couple of difficult patients in the ward. Even though the nurses were very busy when they were able to answer any questions or offer advice that was asked they did so. The staff that dealt with me in Crosshouse hospital from my admittance to my discharge were very professional and helpful and carried out their jobs to a very high standard.
