"Car Park"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

(as a service user),

The care and responses from the staff at NTGH is second to none.

The car park however is a different story.

Thankfully the complicated system has now been replaced with one more simple.

But...at the jubilee entrance car park there is only one pay machine, and there has been for months.

In the pouring rain it becomes very distressing for many patients to have to walk up to the pay machine then all the way back to the hospital entrance. The second machine has been covered in polythene for months.

We are all dying to pay! ! ! Give us a machine.

Dear Sir/Madam

We are currently in the process of improving the car parking further at North Tyneside General Hospital which should resolve any inconvenience for patients. People will be able to pay for parking on their way out of the hospital and there will be more payment options, such as paying by card, which will hopefully make the process quicker.

The machine you have seen will be the new payment machine. As you know, this is situated undercover and right outside the entrance of Jubilee Day Hospital.

I’m sorry for any problems the current situation has caused you.
