It is exactly twelve months since I had my triple heart by-pass at the hospital.I would like to thank all of the staff in every department and wards that I was treated in for their kind and efficient workmanke manner.
I was in London on the new year staying with relatives and fell ill on the first day of the year.The staff at the West Middlesex Hospital were very thorough with their examinations and I was promptly transferred to the Hammersmith for an angiogram which ultimately showed that I required a triple by-pass.
The shock of this news was surreal since I had never been a smoker and considered myself a very fit 59 year old man.
The care and the attitude of all the staff was reassuring and they made me feel at ease during a very worrying time for me and my family.
In the last 12 months my wife,Sharon,and I have organised events that have collected over £350.00 for the BHF.
Thanks again to all at the Hammersmith Hospital and best wishes for the new year.
