What I liked
My daughter was born at 27 weeks gestation t a hospital near london but at 4 weeks of age she became very ill and was transferred to norfolk and norwich for surgery. From the moment we arrived the staff were informative and the doctors were absolutely fantastic. We were introduced to the surgical team and they again were so fantastic and explained everything clearly. This was a very stressful time for us and knowing that our daughter was getting the best care possible it took of some stress and made the whole experience that little bit easier. I am so pleased with the care and she will be returning there for a second surgery in the not too distant future and I am very happy because I know she's getting fantastic care.
What could be improved
I honestly do not have a bad word against the neonatal unit at all, they were all fantatic and worked extremely well together. We are very grateful for all the care and support that they gave to our daughter and even to us as parents!
Anything else?
A big thankyou to all the staff on the NICU!!! :)
