I have attended Haematology for myelofibrosis every few months for the past four years. I have always been treated promptly and well - with cheerful concern.
I have seen three consultants, of whom my current consultant I consider to be the best and who is both informative and fairly enlightened about the alternative treatments I am taking (high does vitamin C and now also high dose selenium), especially, perhaps as I have got no worse since I first attended. The first consultant 'sacked' me because I did not believe that anything that could do one so much harm as a chemotherapy tablet could be good for you. However, the next two consultants affirmed they would not prescribe this anyway.
I find the attention given is excellent. Thank you.
"Good attention"
