"No way to get in touch"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Try getting through!

Tried calling all day through switchboard to get in touch with one of the departments

Attempted more than 20 times and no answer resulting in the appointment being a DNA.

This now will cause myself to be discharged and have to wait for a re federal off my own GP! Resulting in another long wait!

Appointment at 4pm and calling from 10 am no answer.

One word, appalling.

We were very sorry to receive your comments and concerns via the NHS Choices / Patient Opinion website about the difficulties you experienced trying to contact us by telephone. Please accept our apologies as this is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide.

It is very difficult to respond to the specific concerns you have raised without being able to investigate them in more detail. To do this we would need more information about the number/s you called.. If you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 276 8686 or by e-mailing pals@cmft.nhs.uk they will be able to discuss this with you.
