"Blood tests are a fiasco"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

The website says the clinic closes at 5. Today I arrived at 4.30 to find a sign saying that the department was closed. There were 4 patients waiting. A rather upset patient arrived having gone back to her clinic for help. I was feeling too unwell to try and get my blood test done.

I have been attending this clinic for many years, the staff are pleasant but I think they are shabbily treated. Usually arriving later in the day avoids the over 1 hour wait. I will now try for early morning, not the best time of day for me.
