"A&E - broken toe and lacerations"

About: Chelsea & Westminster Hospital

I have been admitted yesterday for a very painful injury to my foot.

I barely waited 20 min in reception and once I have been received, the staff was very nice and very swift to treat the pain.

Two specialists came to assess the situation and recommended a surgery. The nurses managed to find a room in a private ward ( as the hospital was full) to stay overnight and a slot for the operation theatre the following day.

As I never had neither a general anaesthetic nor a surgery, the whole staff was vey reassuring and comprehensing in their explanations.

I have to say that I was very inpressed.

The nursing staff, the orthopedists, the anaesthesia team were absolutely lovely and they deserve to be praised for their professionalism, patience and kindness.
