I found out by chance that I had a lung tumor in middle Sept 2015 while on holiday. On my return to the UK and after visiting my local surgery I was fast tracked for a ct scan at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, The scan confirmed the worst and I was referred to The B R I where I was introduced to the most amazing people including nurses, surgeons and consultants, I was then referred to The Colbalt Centre, Cheltenham for PET scan in case there was any spread to my lymph glands, fortunately, and following a biopsy there was no spread, My surgery was arranged for Nov after which I was taken to ward A700, this ward and all it's staff whether they be medical, cleaning or kitchen are brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. If anyone reading this has any fears about the treatment you will receive in this ward or at the BRI don't worry with staff from all over the world your treatment will be second to none. From start to finish my treatment has taken about 12 weeks, and I am well on the road to recovery. Many Thanks to everyone.
