"At all times she was treated with great dignity and respect"

About: Nottinghamshire County Teaching PCT / Keyworth surgical dermatology service

(as a relative),

The patient is 91 years old and had been aware of a spot on her cheekbone under her left eye for some years. In the last year it had started to grow and was being affected by the rim of her glasses. I took her initially to see the GP who referred her to the Keyworth Dermatological Surgery. There the initial diagnosis was that it was a basal cell carcinoma and should be removed. A week later the patient had her "operation" and the spot was excised. The results showed happily that it was in fact a Keratocanthoma and wouldn't require further treatment. At all times she was treated with great dignity and respect. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to give your comments on your relatives recent treatment at Keyworth.

Your comments and thanks will be passed on to the surgery.

Dignity and respect are areas which mean a lot to patients, therefore I am pleased that your expereice has been positive and that the results were too.

Best wishes to you and your relative for the future.
