"Absolute shambles"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

As somebody who works for the NHS I can fully understand that they are under pressure and over worked however, there is such a lack of organisation, logic and strategy especially in A&E. People are waiting in corridors with no clinicians available yet there are beds and rooms going to waste. I find clinicians are just repeating each others roles over and over again. Within 6 hours of being triaged around 5-6 different clinicians came to retake the patients medical history. The time wasted here is unimaginable. Some staff are rude but you get that everywhere I guess, at the same time some are absolutely amazing. Truth is I would never have come here or taken the patient here as I am already aware of what it's like here. The catch is that the ambulance quite rightly take you to the nearest hospital.

Most importantly staff need to keep patients updated and aware of processes and next steps or it just causes panic and confusion. Patients unnecessarily chasing doctors around for answers they should have already been given.
