"Better late than never"

About: Princess Royal Hospital (Haywards Heath)

I'm sorry that it's taken me 8 months to getting around to saying thank you to the fantastic team at A& E.

I had 4 visits to A&E last year and I can only say that on each occasion I was treated within 3 hours and every member of the team that helped me - from the receptionist to the doctors - did so in the most professional and respectful manner.

My first visit was due to 4 broken metatarsals that had been initially treated in Spain ( and treated very well ) Following the initial investigation and treatment I had to return due to a chest infection and again, following strict instructions to return if there was no improvement, due to pulmonary embolism. The staff were brilliant in the way that they explained things and treated me.

Having recovered from that I managed to drill into my hand and had to get the wound treated - again excellent service.

I sincerely hope that the standard has been maintained - very difficult to improve from my point of view - although I also hope that I don't have to visit A&E again !

I would like the staff to know how much their attitude and ability is appreciated so please pass on my thanks to everyone that I interacted with on my visits.
