"treatment in A and E and fracture clinic"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Having dislocated my toe falling down the stairs I visited A and E on the way back from Gatwick airport, I was seen quite quickly by the triage nurse then had to wait for a while to be seen by the nurse my foot was xrayed then strapped. All in this took about an hour and a half so I was quite pleased.

Then my follow up appointment in the fracture clinic was 4 days later I was seen very quickly and was in and out by the time my husband had parked the car. I have no complaints about the treatment I received.

Dear Shirley,

Thank you for reviewing the service your received from both our emergency department and our fracture clinic. I will make sure that your feedback is passed on to both departments.

I hope you are recovering well at home.

With best wishes,
