"A bad time made good"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

For the first time in my life i felt i had to call an ambulance at 5 in the morning because my pain in my leg was totally unbearable. if the leg moved at all the pain shot around my body. the ambulance arrived in an acceptable time and took me to Darlington Memorial. When i was handed over to the Charge nurse in A & E after a 50 minute wait, i was treated very well by all the staff involved over a period of5 hours.I was discharged and given an appointment for the next day at the fracture clinic. Here i was again treated extremely effeciently and in good time. I was very impressed through out my ordeal by the courtesy, friendliness and effeciency of every member of the staff including the cleaners.
