About: Chase Farm Hospital

My elderly mother had an appt for a CT Scan this morning, my mother hasn't been very well of the last few weeks and we were going to be late for her appt..I called the dept to explain and apologise and expected that we may have to reschedule the appt. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful and reassuring that we were to get there as soon as we could and that she would be having the scan and they would let the radiologist know.....Mums mobility meant that we arrives 45 mins late for her appt,the receptionist was so pleasant and reassured that she had been booked in and the radiologist was aware we were heading round....when we got to scanning dept the radiologist was waiting and couldn't have been nicer and reassuring ,after making our apology....we were treated with respect with a lovely manner and everything explained fully ....the same has to be said for the after care....We are so very lucky to have an NHS service that provides us with such an excellent service and would like to thank all the staff in the Scanning department for thier assistance...wishing them all a very happy and healthy new year.
