"Excellent, prompt and caring hospital"

In the last six months we have required the support of Furness General hospital for diagnosis, cancer treatment, and elderly care including palliative care. In every situation we found the medical team, consultants, doctors, nurses (etc) to be attentive, friendly and efficient. Follow up response from the bereavement team was a new experience as we had previous experience of a major Midlands teaching hospital and although satisfied with that hospital, I can only say the support and response of Furness General was far superior.
