"Useless cancer referral clinic"

About: East Surrey Hospital

My daughter was refered by her GP because of a lump in her neck and the results of a blood test under the two week rule.

She should have had a biopsy, ultra sound and a camera up her nose and down her throat.

All she had was the camera and the reason for this was the person who does the ultra sound and biopsy only works one day a week.

I would not even give this hospital one star but had to do so to be able to write this review.

I have strongly advised my daughter to go back to GP and get refered to a hospital that can actually do the job they are paid for.

Dear Anonymous,

I am sorry that you were disappointed with the care your daughter received whilst a patient with us. I would like to be able to look into her case, but for me to do this I will need her to contact me so that I can get some more details about what happened. Could you please ask her to email me at: jane.penny@sash.nhs.uk

With best wishes,

Jane Penny
