What I liked

The confidence and professionalism of all personnel concerned, very reassuring.

It was my first (and hopefully only) stay in hospital and contrary to all media reports, I could not fault any area quite the reverse. All aspects of care,(freindly and reassuring) catering,(food wholesome and delicious) cleaning (thorough and detailed) and all round support (physios and porters) were superb and a credit to the hospital.

Never have I had so much attention ! (Don't tell the wife)

What could be improved

Other than having Sky Sports available I cannot think of anything that could have improved on the stay I had.

Anything else?

Message for my consultant, it is just over 9months since the operation and for me it is nothing short of a miracle. My hip is now the best part of me, I'm virtually back up to full fitness, just need to up the pace. Mobility is better than ever, feel ten years younger.

I can't thank you enough for what you did and would like to wish you, and all of your team a very happy christmas and healthy new year.
