"Smoking outside the hospital"

I recently wrote to the Board regarding smoking outside the Queen Elizabeth Hospital main entrance and although I had replies to my e mails I see that there appears to have been little progress made.

I was at the hospital yesterday and the number of smokers outside the main entrance was shocking but what really looked bad was the number of cigarette ends just dropped on the floor.

These should be cleared up daily on walking out of the main entrance the floor was wet from the downpour and the cigarette ends were a soggy mulsh that when stepped on you could cause a fall.

I suspect I am just wasting my time but if I don't mention this, then I feel that I become one of the members of public that complain to themselves about a subject but don't bother trying to correct a issue.
