My husband was transferred here from Royal Preston Hospital during December 2015. His care was exceptional from all concerned. He is an alzheimer sufferer who also has multiple sclerosis and was bed bound and mostly unresponsive on admission. The staff worked tirelessly with him, trying to help him to regain some balance to enable him to use his wheelchair again. He was always treated with the greatest of care and respect, was always clean and tidy and the staff took time to talk to him even though he was mostly unable to respond. They took time to talk to us and to reassure us about his condition and treatment. His pneumonia returned and he had to be transferred back to Preston hospital. The staff showed great concerns and asked us to inform them about his progress. I am hopeful that he will improve enough to return to Longridge Hospital where I am sure he will have the best opportunity to get well enough to come home. Thank you all so much.
