About: Macclesfield District General Hospital / Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy

(as a carer),

My son has been attending Macclesfield hospital Speach and Language classes over the last 6 months. I have been really impressed with the therapists epecially seeing the improvement in my son. The class this term has been the best, as my son thinks that he is playing games and he has lots of fun at the class. The therapist has been really interactive and has played lots of varied fun games with the group. I have also appreciated the parent session, and would be intrestested in more so I can help more. Thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased that your son has made good progress and that his therapy has been enjoyable. It is great to know that the parent session that you attend was helpful. We believe that therapy is most effective when parents and the therapists can work together. Your part in the process is extremely important.

We would like to learn more about how we can continue to develop and improve the information and support that we give to parents and would we welcome feedback and ideas that will help us to do this. Meanwhile, please let your speech and language therapist know if there is anything else that you would like to know or if you need more ideas to help your child to practice at home. She will be more that pleased to help.
