Two of our children were born here.
We had to bring our nine-year-old son in on Christmas Eve with a broken wrist - he and his mother stayed overnight and he had an operation in the morning.
There seemed to be a few problems in terms of what we were told by the Recovery Department and what actually happened and also with communication between Recovery and the ward.
However, the nurses in the Children's Unit were wonderful, especially one in particular (I hope they get to see this) who was professional, kind, courteous and cheerful throughout, even when I was being angry about the miscommunication.
Thank you - and sorry you had to work on Christmas Day.
