"Poor After Care"

I am sorry to say the after care has been very poor. My husband left hospital having had a total hip replacement 3 days earlier feeling sick and wound bleeding. Very sick next day because of pain relief drugs not agreeing with him and the wound was bleeding badly soaked through the dressing. I rang North Downs but he was not allowed back as Infectious Control Officer said 'NO' told to see his doctor next day or

I (wife) could change the dressing!! Spent the next 14 days having dressing changed daily (spent 7 hours in East Surrey 1 day, paramedic out another day) because bleeding would not stop. Nobody from North Downs Hosp. followed up on the bleeding despite knowing about the problem?? Even went to the Dene on Christmas day . I am worried as he has to have his right hip replaced as well. Not happy...
