"parking charges"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

I attended for an appointment at the TIA clinic staff were excellent, but was reffered to xray where I was kept waiting an excessive time. This resulted in an extortionate parking charge. Parking all day in the town centre is cheaper!! I note that even the disabled are now charged. The media recently highlighted this.People do not go to hospital for fun or a day out. They are either sick, attending appointments, or visiting sick friends or relatives. Please do not say the money is used for patients as I would not believe you.

Money accruing from parking charges is used to fund the upkeep and security of the parking facilities; any excess is channelled back into patient care. The charge for disabled parking is capped.
