"Improved my quality of life"

About: Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital

I have suffered from recurrent epistaxis (nosebleeds) due to very severe allergies since I was a child. I've been to many hospitals in London that have always provided the same treatment (Naseptin and cauterisation) that never worked for me, despite my telling them multiple times that these treatments have been tried on me before and did not work. None of the doctors would listen to my concerns and history and would fob me off. So, for over 15 years, I have suffered with not only nosebleeds but daily sneezing, blocked nose, runny eyes etc... and have just had to live with it. It wasn't until I was referred to the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, by a locum doctor at my GP surgery no less, that things started to change.

I met an allergy specialist who carried out various tests to get to the root of my problem. They listened to all my concerns and took into account my history. And once diagnosed, they gave me treatment (Dymista nasal spray) that has literally changed my life. I no longer fear going outside in case it might trigger my allergies, and I am able to live my life much more fully. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for not only for the specialist, but all of the staff at the hospital who have been caring, compassionate and understanding.

I would highly recommend this hospital for anyone else who has suffered in silence for many years such as myself. Don't bother with other hospitals in the UK where the doctors will just give you the standard, and cheapest, treatment to get rid of you.

Thank you so much to everyone at this hospital. You have truly changed my life and I very much appreciate it.
