"Lovely paramedics took my husband ..."

What I liked

Lovely paramedics took my husband in even if did take 35 minutes to arrive!!

Hospital is very clean and cleaner constantly around to be seen

Ward my husband was on very nice only 3 in ward

We were unprepared so was giving toiletry bag with everything he needed

Receptionist was kind to me as left waiting to be allowed into A& with husband for 30 mins which was worry when he is screaming in pain

told time for scan was precise time went for it no waiting only for porters

sweet tea lady on ward always happy

GREAT visiting times 2 until 8

What could be improved

When receptionist took me through to my husband it was 30 mins before anyone even checked on him. No chair for me asked if i could have one told look down corridor husband asked nurse for something never got it. Dr hard to understand she then gave my husband tablets and told me to go get him water isn't that her job? lovely nurse took over

Ward - first nurse he was lovely said i could wait with my husband as was middle of night then another nurse came in and rudely told me to leave come back at 2pm i did now angry i let her speak to me like that and was in middle of reading on my own not knowing where to go. Ward nurses kind and porters nice.

Food take your own my husband got wrong meal was told that or nothing!

waited ages to see dr and be discharged but they were nice

Xmas decs think cheer patients up!

Nice nurses but are under staffed

Anything else?

if some of the staff could be a little happier then this would be an amazing hospital as very clean. i would recommend it it but say staff its luck of draw
