"Mammogram results"

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

My first appointment was fine. The staff very caring and reassuring but then I had to wait nearly 2 weeks for the result of a biopsy.

My appointment was for 2.45pm and I didn't get seen until 4.10pm! No explanation was given apart from a mumbled apology as I was shown into see the doctor who so obviously had not read my notes at all.

The doctor said that my biopsy of my lump was fine and I had to point out that I didn't have a lump it was calcium deposits that I had the biopsy for! And asked if that was why I went to the doctors? I didn't go to the doctors, it showed up on a mammogram.

Although they said my results were fine I am not totally reassured because the doctor didn't even know the basics. I will never go to this hospital again. I would rather travel further afield.
