"A&E care"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

my husband collapsed and fell down stairs at work. the ambulance was called as he complained of chest pains and wasnt very coherent. the ambulance staff and staff at A&E were incredible. the treatment he received in A&E was faultless. He was given x rays, ct scan to ensure no brain bleed, and also ecgs were done. he also had bllod pressure checked and blood sugar levels checked. My husband could not have received better care or attention anywhere else, it was NHS but I am positive that if he had gone private he wouldnt have got better care. the staff were cheerful, helpful and profssional at all times

Thank you for taking the time to comment on the care your husband received - we are very pleased to hear that he had such a positive experience.

The matron for the area will ensure your feedback is passed on to the team who will be very pleased to hear it.

We hope your husband is now recovering well at home and we wish you both a very Merry Christmas.
